According to the document attached to the post, the Chinese Embassy in Laos sent a letter to the Lao government on September 11, requesting that the Lu Si seat be handed over to China. The Chinese Embassy in Laos stated that according to an investigation by the Sichuan Provincial Public Security Bureau, Lu Sixi illegally left the country from Yunnan on July 12 and was arrested by the Lao police on July 28. On September 3, Sichuan police approved the criminal detention of Lu Siwei on suspicion of illegally crossing the border.
