The Swiss sent his two daughters to John McEnroe’s academy in East Hampton; Leo and Lenny trained at the Rafa Nadal Academy.
Federer also fulfilled a “promise” he made at the opening of Nadal’s academy in 2016. “I now know where I will send my children if they want to learn to play tennis,” explained the long-time world number one at the time. Said and done.
