Highlights of the Work Done by Teams in Pougues-les-Eaux

Pougues-les-Eaux. The work of the teams highlighted. During her back-to-school meeting dedicated to agents, Mayor Sylvie Cantrel gave the floor to department managers for an overview of their missions and an initial assessment of the projects undertaken.

For his part, David Flament, head of technical services, listed all the numerous works carried out by his team in terms of roads, green spaces, water and green waste management, maintenance, development, renovation of premises, support for events, maintenance of buildings, cleaning of the community and monitoring of work carried out by service providers.

Muriel Minel, from the children and youth sector, recalled the actions implemented throughout the year both in the organization of extracurricular activities and holidays, in the various structures of the municipality. Its department, with ten full-time agents and twenty-four temporary workers, is completely dedicated to others. She praised the agents who did not hesitate to take on the challenge of investing in new missions and congratulated her team for the mutual assistance that exists within it.

Florence Finel, for multi-reception, recalled that her structure was now ten years old; an anniversary which will be celebrated at the same time as the expansion which is now completed. The extension will make it possible to accommodate childminders during awareness workshops, weekly baby reader sessions, and parent/child workshops offered as part of parenting support. Inauguration scheduled for Saturday September 16. She specified that the multi-reception is full. Pouguois families even had to be refused entry at the start of the school year. She therefore insisted on the work to be put in place, with childminders, in order to meet the needs of families.

Céline Bécili, from France Services, gave the figures linked to the activity: nine hundred people passed through the structure, or sixteen people per day, the majority of whom were from Pouguois.
