Colomiers Bodybuilding Association: Multiple Champions at World Championships and French Records Set

The Colomiers bodybuilding association has been in existence for several decades and has seen thousands of people pass through these decades looking for the pleasure of surpassing themselves or seeking a result. There are many who have worn the colors of USC bodybuilding and weightlifting high and far.

Accustomed to performances, Elodie Jouandet and Éric Nisseron, coach of the club, participated in the last World Championships in the master category from August 19 to 27 in Wieliczka in Poland. The solidarity of the club and their loved ones allowed a prize pool to be organized by the association office to help the two competitors finance their trip. Alongside around thirty French people, the two Columérins will not have done poorly in their respective categories.

A world champion in powerlifting

The Columérin club was not satisfied. In athletic strength, Rolland Boyer achieved the double achievement of becoming French champion and World bodyweight champion. In his category – 105 kg, he set a French record in deadlift with results of 275 kg, in squat 240 kg and in bench press 140 kg. And during the worlds, in -110 kg, the master did it again with a squat at 210 kg, a bench press at 155 kg and a deadlift at 300 kg.
