Unity’s New Charge Sparks Threat to Remove Cult of the Lamb

The recently announced charge by Unity has not left the developers indifferent and now the developer of Cult of the Lamb threatened to remove its game after the announced changes.

It should be remembered that Unity announced that it would charge developers per installation, which could affect titles that are on subscription services or are free and without much profit.

“Buy Cult of the Lamb now, because we will remove it on January 1,” they said through the game’s Twitter account in response to the Unity news.

The news apparently did not go down well with Devolver Digital, a renowned publisher that publishes a large number of independent games, who published a tweet pointing out that “it definitely includes what engine you are using in game launches. “This is important information!”
