It is noteworthy that the Moroccan News Agency said that the Moroccan King, King Mohammed VI, visited the “Mohammed VI” University Hospital Center in Marrakesh, where he inspected the health condition of the injured victims of the painful earthquake, which caused human and material losses in many parts of the Kingdom, and donated blood to the injured.
The King visited the services of recovery and hospitalization of earthquake victims, where he inquired about the health condition of the injured, as well as the health services provided to them by the medical teams mobilized following this major natural disaster.
About 2,171 injured people were received in various hospital centers in the Marrakesh-Safi region, including 484 with serious injuries and 1,570 with mild injuries, while 248 people are still in hospitals receiving treatment.
The Moroccan Ministry of the Interior reported in a statement that the number of victims had risen to 2,901 people, 2,884 of whom were buried, while the number of wounded reached 5,530 people.
