A famous British artist presented Macau’s first live art creation performance to celebrate his first solo art exhibition in Macau and held an unveiling ceremony for the world’s premiere artwork.

Today, City of Dreams has invited contemporary artist Mr Doodle to visit the premier entertainment resort. City of Dreams presented Macau’s first live art creation exchange performance and held an unveiling ceremony for its world premiere artwork.
In order to celebrate his first personal art exhibition in Macau – “Mr Doodle (Mr. Graffiti) Macau First Exhibition”, the world-renowned contemporary artist Mr. Doodle (Mr. Graffiti) specially came all the way to visit the City of Dreams and bring his first Macau exhibition Live art creation exchange performance, with a unique artistic style, featuring complex black and white lines and patterns, using all the skills on a large-scale City of Dreams logo sculpture of approximately 2.5 meters x 1 meters, and impromptu demonstration of art creation for on-site guests The performance was also performed by Ms. Helena de Senna Fernandes, Director of the Macau Government Tourism Office, Mr. Cheng Jiming, Deputy Director of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macau Special Administrative Region Government, Ms. Zhang Minhui, Director of the Youth Department of the Education and Youth Development Bureau, Mr. Chung Yuk-wen, Director of Melco Crown Entertainment, Melco Witnessed by Mr. David Sisk, Chief Operating Officer (Macau Business) of Boyaa Entertainment, and Mr. Fan Rongting, founder and chairman of the board of directors of Shangjin Group, Mr. Doodle also performed the unveiling ceremony of his world premiere artwork.
The latest world premiere art work – “Mr Doodle | Mickey Sculpture”, with a height of 30cm, references one of Mickey’s most classic shapes, with his hands behind his back, his toes raised, smiling and standing proudly. The global limited edition of 500 “Mr Doodle | Mickey Sculpture” is covered with Mr Doodle’s representative graffiti pattern. The main body of the sculpture is made of resin, the pattern is embossed and the color is injected. Filled, it adds a playful and artsy touch to the beloved Disney character Mickey Mouse.
Co-organized by Melco Crown Entertainment and Artelli, with the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macau SAR Government serving as the guiding unit, and the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macau SAR Government serving as the supporting unit, and curated by Galleries, Artelli and ARTOX GROUP, “Mr Doodle (Mr. Graffiti) Macau First Exhibition” is a special exhibition of “Art Macau: Macau International Art Biennale 2023”. The exhibition will be held at City of Dreams from August 1 to October 15. Four pieces specially designed for The world’s first large-scale art installation and 24 original works created by Melco. Every surface from the floor to the walls and pillars is covered with the artist’s unique creative style. The giant LED TV curtain wall also displays the first exhibition of Mr. Doodle in Macau.
