Citroën comes with a limited edition of the C5 X called Hypnos. The new equipment also includes a new exterior color.
Citroën, traditionally known for its emphasis on comfort and innovative design, comes with a new product that emphasizes these efforts even more. The French automaker presents a limited edition of the C5 X model with the name Hypnos. This special version is built on the foundations of the “Max” equipment level, but is enriched with a number of unique elements that take it one step higher.
The name “Hypnos” has its roots in Greek mythology, where it represents the god of sleep. Although Citroën certainly does not encourage the driver to relax behind the wheel, the name clearly refers to the superior comfort of the vehicle, providing “absolute peace of mind”. Interestingly, this inspiration is also reflected in some design elements of the car. Let’s look at it in more detail.
On the outside, the C5 X Hypnos is presented in a new, elegant Eclipse Blue color, inspired by the shade of the midnight sky. The dark appearance of the exterior is underlined by red elements and 19-inch wheels in black. On the contrary, in the interior, we will encounter a complete contrast in the form of light materials that greatly air the cabin. The feeling of comfort is enhanced by features such as a glass sunroof, premium audio, heated, massaging and ventilated front seats with electric lumbar adjustment and special carpets.
Orders for this limited edition, available with the 225 ë-EAT8 Plug-in Hybrid engine, are now open and deliveries are scheduled for early 2024. The price of the special equipment has been set at 1,300,000 CZK, so an increase over the price of the equipment ” Max” amounts to CZK 60,000. The car can already be ordered and is also available in the Czech configurator.
