At the end of the loud and eventful summer season, on September 16, the winner of the title of this year’s roller skating competition “Alnis 2023” will be determined by skating on specially prepared structures throughout the day. The annual street skating competition will gather riders from all over the Baltics for the sixteenth year in a row.
On the other hand, from 19.00 we will indulge in the fun “Skrituldisco” event, in which everyone who wants to skate and dance with any kind of roller skates is invited to participate. During the event, Mežaparka roller skate rental will be available. DJ Goodzh will take care of the disco, funk and groove musical mood, while visitors are invited to dress in bright colors, inspired by the roller disco style of the 70s. During the event, it will be possible to enjoy refreshing drinks from Laska Bar, original ice cream cocktails for adults from “Wafele” bar and French delicacies from “CheFrance”.
During the autumn season, the “VEF Quarter” will host the Latvian Architecture Year Award 2023 ceremony (6.10), a concert by the rapper Finkis (25.11), and other loud events. We invite you to follow the news on vefkvartals.lv and the social network accounts of the quarter.
