Emirati Referee Praised for Officiating World League Championship Finals

DUBAI, 13th September, 2017 (WAM) – Members of the Referees Committee of the International Karate Federation praised the performance of the Emirati international referee, Jaber Al Zaabi, in officiating the finals of the World League Championship (Karate 1), in the Irish capital, Dublin.
Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Referees Committee of the Emirates Karate Federation, and a member of the Asian and International Karate Referees Committees, was commissioned by the Referees Committee of the International Karate Federation, in managing the league finals, which concluded its competitions last Sunday, with the participation of more than 350 male and female players, including the best 32 male and female players in the world rankings. .
The members of the International Federation’s Referees Committee praised Al Zaabi’s performance in all the matches, as this tournament is the last round of the World League before the World Senior Championship is held in Hungary next October.
Al Zaabi is scheduled to chair the judging committee of the SERIES-A Championship at the end of this month in Larnaca, Cyprus, in an achievement for the UAE arbitration that will be added to the records of the Karate Federation. About 1,000 male and female players are participating in this tournament.
