Apple Reduces Prices of iPhone 14 Series in China as iPhone 15 Series Launches

Apple’s website showed on Wednesday that it had reduced the prices of its iPhone 14 series in China, after launching the new iPhone 15 series.

The website showed that the price of the 128 GB version of the iPhone 14 dropped by 600 yuan to 5,399 yuan ($740.50), while the iPhone 14 Plus is priced at 5,999 yuan, down from 6,999 yuan.

The company suffered huge losses in its market value exceeding $200 billion, after China tightened restrictions on state employees’ use of iPhones and asked employees in some central government agencies to stop using phones produced by Apple at work.

Yesterday, the company announced its latest products, launching 4 new phones in addition to two smart watches.

The products announced by the giant American company at its annual conference in California are “iPhone 15”, “iPhone 15 Plus”, “iPhone 15 Pro”, and “iPhone 15 Pro Max”, in addition to the “Apple Watch Series 9”, and the “iPhone 15 Pro” version. The second of the “Ultra” watches.

Apple added a major upgrade to the external appearance of the phones, including a “Dynamic Island” design to the screen, in addition to a USB C port for charging and data transfer instead of the traditional “Lightning” port.

The prices of the basic iPhone phones do not differ from last year, as the price of the iPhone 15 starts at $800, while the price of the larger version, the iPhone 15 Plus, starts at $900, for the basic capacity that starts from 128 GB.
