Acer has announced a new gaming monitor with a record panel refresh rate.
What is known
The new product was called Acer XV242F. The device is equipped with a 24.1-inch screen. This is a TN matrix with FHD resolution, an image refresh rate of 540 Hz and a response time of 0.1 ms. The panel has a brightness of 400 nits and covers 99% of the sRGB color space. Acer XV242F is equipped with DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 interfaces.
The monitor has built-in speakers of 2 W each. The new product supports Nvidia G-Sync technology, which allows you to combat screen tearing, stuttering and shaking while playing games or watching videos.
Price and when to expect
The Acer XV242F is already on sale, but so far only in China. The monitor costs $686. By the way, ASUS will soon begin selling its competitor – ROG Swift Pro PG248QP.
