Microsoft announced a new Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Series controller via the official Xbox Blog.
This is a Special Edition Xbox Astral Purple Controller. The design on the front is completely purple, including the analog sticks and the letters of the face buttons are purple. Only the D-pad is kept black on the front. The back of the controller is white, while the triggers and bumpers are made in black. The X in the Xbox logo also has the color Purple.

The new Xbox Wireless Controller can remember two connections at the same time. For example, a PC and an Xbox console. Switching between devices is very easy by double-clicking the connect button. The controller then searches for the second device to which it previously established a wireless connection.
The Astral Purple Special Edition Xbox Wireless Controller will be available from September 19, 2023. Pre-ordering is now possible via Microsoft Store. The controller is compatible with PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, Android and iOS. The controller has a long battery life, namely 40 hours per charge. You must purchase batteries separately, these are not included.
The Astral Purple Special Edition Xbox Wireless Controller has a suggested retail price of 65 Euro.
