Royalty British Prince Harry (38) and Meghan Markle (41) say they have had enough of publishing revealing memoirs, but that does not mean that certain people around them cannot make a shot at success. For example, Trevor Engelson (46), Meghan’s ex-husband, is reportedly being offered a lot of money to market his own book.
There are a lot of rumors going around about the breakup between Trevor and Meghan. According to insiders, Meghan mainly saw the marriage as a way to move up in Hollywood, since Trevor was working as a film producer. From the moment he could no longer do anything for her, she allegedly pushed him aside and then sent her wedding ring back to him by post. Only two people know whether those stories are true, and one of them could make a lot of money by airing their dirty laundry.
Because while Meghan prefers to keep quiet about her previous relationship, Trevor receives one offer after another to market his own memoir. “These are multi-million dollar deals, offered by several major publishers,” said royalty expert Neil Sean in ‘Mirror’. “Everyone is after their story. After all, he personally knows what it’s like to be married to Meghan, and he could paint a picture of the person she was before she became a royal.”

“Moreover, Meghan is not in the habit of maintaining contacts from her ‘old life’. Both her father, Thomas Markle, and her stepsister are estranged,” Neil continued. “The last two have already had their say, but Trevor has not yet. Everyone wants to hear what he has to say about her.”
“That would of course be bad news for Meghan,” Sean nods. “She wants to fully focus on her new life, as the wife of Prince Harry. It wouldn’t help her attempt to launch a solo career either.”
It is not yet known whether Trevor has actually accepted an offer from a publishing house.
