Storm Warning: 13 Departments in Paraguay to be Affected by Severe Weather

The National Directorate of Meteorology updated the special storm bulletin for 13 departments of the national territory. We will tell you which areas of the country will be affected by the storm in the next few hours.

Since last night, several weather bulletins have been in effect due to severe weather phenomena. The most recent was updated after 8:00 this Tuesday and rain is forecast with moderate to strong thunderstorms, moderate to strong gusts of wind and the occasional fall of hail.

The core of storms persists over the central-southern of the Eastern Region, in addition to the south and east of the Western Region, with a tendency to cover other departments of the country.

Departments that will be affected by the storm today

Thunderstorms are likely to occur punctually this morning in the following departments: San Pedro, Cordillera, Guairá, western Caaguazú, Caazapá, Itapúa, Misiones, Paraguarí, southern Upper Paraná, Central, northern Ñeembucú, south and east of Presidente Hayes, as well as the city of Asunción.

This week’s rains will bring with them very marked drops in temperature. Minimum temperatures of around 10 and 13°C are even expected.
