Cuban arrested in Miami for ending his wife’s life in front of his daughter

An elderly Cuban was arrested by Florida authorities accused of having murdered his wife, however, the worst part of the case was the man allegedly committed this crime in front of their youngest daughter.

According to Local 10 News, the elderly man was identified as Alberto Molinet, 70 years old, who allegedly committed the crime inside a mobile home parked in Royal Duke Park, a commercial area located south of Ariport Expressway, in Miami. .

The police report indicates that the victim’s daughter had called the authorities shortly before Molinet committed the crime in the early hours of Sunday, September 10.

Authorities indicated that the call was made around midnight, and that the girl claimed that her father had taken a firearm from a safe and was using it to threaten her mother.

The woman had hidden in the bathroom of the house, but Molinet shot at the door to open it. Later, the man entered the bathroom to shoot her, fatally wounding her.

Officers and fire personnel arrived at the scene, finding the woman without signs of life around 1:00 am. The weapon was confiscated by the police, and the elderly man was placed in custody.

The man was taken to the Doral police headquarters, where he was questioned by officers and presented to court.

There, he was charged with second-degree murder with a deadly weapon, for which he was denied bail. Molinet was later transferred to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where he remains at this time.

For now, Miami-Dade detectives continue to investigate Molinet’s motives for shooting his wife, urging anyone with information to contact the county’s Crime Stoppers line at 305-471-8477.

Cuban arrested for murdering his wife in Miami Gardens

At the end of April, a man of Cuban origin was arrested by Miami-Dade authorities after he fatally shot his wife in the head.

According to the police report, it was the same man, identified as Michel Lostal, who called the authorities to confess what he had done.

Officers arrived at 189th Street and 55th Avenue in Northwest County, in Miami Gardens, where they found the man giving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to the woman. According to officers, Lostal did not bother to deny that he was the one who shot the victim, but they did not elaborate further.

The woman was alive, but died shortly after arriving at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.
