Hyundai Ioniq 6: Lowest Electric Vehicle Consumption and Fast Charging Capability – ADAC Ecotest Results

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 achieved the lowest consumption of an electric vehicle to date in the ADAC Ecotest. The automobile club’s testers determined a real consumption of 15.5 kilowatt hours. A large part of this is due to the excellent air resistance coefficient of just 0.21. In the consumption/CO2 rating, the Ioniq 6 received 58 out of 60 possible points, and in terms of pollutant emissions, taking the German electricity mix into account, it received 49 out of 50 points.

In test operation, the ADAC was able to recharge electricity for a journey of more than 400 kilometers in 20 minutes, thanks to charging powers of up to 236 kW. The model was tested with rear-wheel drive and a 77.4 kWh battery, which, according to the automobile club’s calculations, has a range of 555 kilometers. (aum)
