Patna ∙ Janata Dal (U) President Lalan Singh said that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is the most suitable to be the prime ministerial candidate of the opposition ‘India’ Front. Apart from his 17 years of experience as the Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish also has the experience of holding the posts of Union Railways and Agriculture Ministers.
Lalan Singh also praised Nitish as a leader who is untainted by corruption despite holding power for decades. The JD(U) staked claim for the prime ministerial candidature when the seat sharing talks were about to begin on the ‘India’ front. The leaders of other parties in the front are also promoting their own leaders for the prime ministerial candidacy.
