NEW YORK — A 74-year-old man was pushed onto Manhattan subway tracks in an unprovoked attack early Tuesday, New York City Police said.
The incident occurred after midnight at the train station in E 68th & Hunter College when the victim was waiting on the platform and the suspect, who was apparently frying, approached and pushed the man, the uniformed officer added.
MTA workers helped the victim off the train tracks and she was later transported to the hospital for body pain and a small wound, police said.
The suspect fled the scene and authorities are investigating the incident.
