The Argentine world champion has bought a luxury property in Miami.
WHAT HAPPENED? Lionel Messi has bought a luxurious waterfront property in Fort Lauderdale for the equivalent of just over 10 million euros ($10.8 million).
WHAT IS THE BACKGROUND? The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner had been looking for a permanent home for himself and his family since moving to the United States to join Inter Miami. He has now found this in a property in Florida that has 10 bedrooms, a wellness area, two boat docks and a swimming pool.
Messi’s new home covers 10,500 square meters and also has a garage for three cars. It is just 15 minutes from Inter Miami’s DRV PNK Stadium and the club’s adjacent training center.

WHAT’S NEXT? Messi has settled in very well since his move to Inter Miami. The Argentine helped the club to a historic League Cup triumph, as well as a place in the US Open Cup final and a chance at the playoffs.
