TRIBUNNEWS.COM, BEIJING – Chinese cellphone manufacturer Huawei is preparing to release its new flagship cellphone, the Mate 60 Pro+, on the Chinese market. Huawei released this cellphone amidst heated relations between President Xi Jinping and cellphone developer Apple.
Precisely after President Xi Jinping released regulations regarding the prohibition of the use of iPhone cellphones for all government officials and civil servants in China, starting from September 6.

As a result of this regulation, a number of Apple Stores in China began to lack customers and mobile phone manufacturer Apple Inc suffered losses of up to 200 billion US dollars over the weekend.
Huawei then used this moment to boost sales of its newest cellphone, namely the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+, which was just introduced and sold through a pre-sale program on Friday (8/9/2023).

Similar to the iPhone 15, it is reported that Huawei will go on sale on October 9 with the ability to connect two satellites simultaneously.
Through the use of a satellite network, it allows Huawei users to send SOS messages during an emergency without requiring an internet network or Wi-Fi connection. This innovation is similar to the feature that Apple will include in the launch of the iPhone 15 which will be held on September 12 tomorrow.
Apart from satellite network services, this smartphone comes with quite interesting specifications. On the screen, for example, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ is equipped with a 6.82″ inch screen, a resolution of 1212×2616 pixels and Kunlun Glass 2 which is claimed to be 10 times stronger than Gorilla Glass.
In terms of storage, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ is equipped with 16 GB RAM with storage ranging from 512GB to 1TB. Apart from that, this flagship smartphone also deliberately uses the Kirin 9000S chipset, which is claimed to make cellphone engine operations run faster.
To provide consumers with a smarter interactive experience, Huawei has embedded a number of advanced features such as AI remote control. Meanwhile, to support users’ photography activities, this cellphone has 3 cameras and a 13 MP front camera which supports 4K@30/60fps video, HDR, and gyro-EIS.
Turning to the power section, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ is equipped with 88W wired fast charging power, which can fully charge 100 percent in just 30 minutes.
It is not yet known how much it will cost to get this sophisticated cellphone, but according to GSMArena, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+, which comes in Black, White, Green, Purple, will be sold from 7,000 yuan to 9,000 yuan or around Rp. 14.7 million to Rp. 18.9 million.
