The 4th Latvian Ceramics Biennale competition exhibition “Martinson Award” is a must-see event!” This past weekend, after the Latvian Ceramics Biennale competition exhibition “Martinson’s Award” opened at the Mark Rothko Art Center in Daugavpils, visitors expressed their emotions in the public space and in person.
This year, a total of 685 applications from artists representing 71 countries were received for the “Martinson Award”. Prizes have been awarded to ten of them, the works of the best authors can be seen in the exhibition.
We remind you that the personal exhibition “Terra” of ceramist Sanita Ābelīte, winner of the gold award in the national category, can be seen in the “Rīgas Mākslas telpa” exhibition hall in the Intro hall until September 30.
