The seventh edition of the Montgolfiade de Chartres took place for three days, from Friday to Sunday September 10, at the Chartres Métropole aerodrome. The event, organized by the Chartres Montgolfières association, succeeded in bringing together around twenty diverse and varied hot air balloons from all over France.
25 hot air balloons conquer the sky in the Chartres area for three days
The takeoff of certain balloons was delayed due to the intense heat that has affected the region for several days. Nevertheless, the takeoffs took place. Passengers were present on board each hot air balloon. A member of the organization indicates: “You never know where the hot air balloon will land, but the pilots always try to land in a clear field and in complete safety.”
