You have probably already encountered a situation in your home when the remote control on the TV suddenly stops working. While it used to be possible to control the TV directly on the device, today it is no longer common at all. You simply need the driver, but what if this happens to you sometime in the evening?
The procedure is easy
Just the situation when you don’t have spare batteries at your disposal is annoying. However, it may happen that the controller does not work even after you replace the batteries. Then most people choose a radical solution. They throw the old TV remote in the trash and look for a new one. But which one to buy? Genuine, which is expensive, or non-genuine, which might not work as well? The same questions.
But first of all, you should realize that the remote control is a very simple device that is almost impossible to destroy. And at the same time it is very easy to fix. Even a complete novice and a layman can do it. At the same time, it is a cheaper and usually faster solution than looking for a new driver.
We use the remote control very often, and for many years. So it’s no wonder he can rear his head once in a while. But it only says one thing: it needs a little freshening up. It consists of various compounds that become dirty over time, react more poorly and eventually stop reacting completely. In short, it is necessary to get rid of the dirt between the buttons and connections, which inevitably accumulates there from time to time. When you open the controller, you might be surprised what you find there.

Foil in the main role
But the important thing is that cleaning the controller is absolutely easy. Don’t worry about any small parts that you might lose or destroy. Simply unscrew the controller and clean the inside of the rubber buttons with a cloth soaked in alcohol or soapy water. Then let it dry. In order to get into smaller holes, you can also use a cotton swab for your ears.
However, it may happen that the controller does not work even after this procedure, which is usually caused by the fact that the conductive rubber surfaces on the buttons are too worn. Fortunately, they can be ordered new and easily replaced. You can find them very easily on the Internet.
However, caring for the remote control for a TV or other device does not end there. You can also repair and improve it in a very special way, which was presented by a group of Czechs.
