Cristiano Ronaldo has shown a totally selfless gesture in the midst of the chaos and tragedy that hit Morocco.
According to the testimony of a Spanish citizen who recounted her experience after the earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale that shook the country during the early hours of September 8, the Portuguese star’s hotel, Pestana CR7, located on the outskirts of Marrakech, opened its doors to provide shelter to those affected.

“We started looking for flights, they sold out in a moment. We had to take flights of even a thousand euros to try to leave earlier because we were leaving next Wednesday. The hotels are the same. We had to come to the new area of Marrakech, where there are more luxury hotels, so to speak. Now we have managed to get a room at Cristiano Ronaldo’s hotel, which is on the outskirts of Marrakech,” Irene Seixas told RTVE Noticias.
“We’re waiting. We slept all night on the street and at seven in the morning they told us that we could come and that they would try to give us a room as soon as possible. At the moment we are here in a lobby with a lot of people of different nationalities waiting to see if we can get a room, but we have all slept on the street,” he added.
