According to the results of the second day of voting in Russian regions, 143 violations were recorded at polling stations. This was announced by the Chairman of the Commission of the Public Chamber of Russia on public control and work with citizens’ appeals Alena Bulgakova.
“Operators of the volunteer call center of the election observation situation center carried out 10.6 thousand communications with members of mobile voting observation groups in the regions of Russia. For now [9 сентября] observers reported 143 deviations from the gold standard (list of rules for organizing voting – note URA.RU),” TASS journalists reported Bulgakova’s words.
According to the chairman of the commission, as a result of processing reports of possible violations, 78 were not confirmed, 16 were confirmed, 11 of them were eliminated. Currently 49 messages are in progress.
From 8 to 10 September, 78 election campaigns are being held in 54 regions. The CEC emphasized that the election process is proceeding calmly, but still there are violations. During the voting, there were reports of attempts to hack the server that provides SMS notifications, and there was also information about the cancellation of the mass voting results.
