Several matches Euro 2024 qualification was held on Friday (8/9) local time. Following are the complete results of these matches.
Portugal managed to add three points in the hunt for tickets to Euro 2024. In the duel for top position in the group against hosts Slovakia, Portugal narrowly won 1-0.
Ronaldo did not score a goal in this match. Portugal’s only winning goal was scored by Bruno Fernandes in the 43rd minute.
In other matches, Spain successfully recorded a landslide 7-1 victory over Georgia. Alvaro Morata was the star of the victory with his hat trick, while the other four goals came from Dani Olmo, Nico Williams, Lamine Yamal and Kvirkvelia’s own goal.
Croatia also won a landslide victory. Entertaining Latvia, Croatia ended the match with a score of 5-0. Bruno Petkovic scored two goals while the other three goals were scored by Luka Ivanusec, Andrej Kramaric and Mario Pasalic.
A surprise result occurred in the Türkiye vs Armenia duel. Türkiye, which played with full support from the crowd, was only able to draw 1-1. Turkey even fell behind through Artak Dashyan’s goal before finally being able to equalize through Bertug Ozgur Yildirim in the 88th minute.
