A new legal dispute with “Bild” is looming in the Archdiocese of Cologne. The newspaper will appeal against an interim injunction, said a spokesman for Axel Springer Publishing at the request of the Catholic News Agency (KNA). In an expedited procedure, the Cologne regional court had banned the newspaper from continuing to identify a former high-ranking clergyman as a “porn priest,” as the archdiocese’s lawyer, Carsten Brennecke, told the weekly newspaper “Die Zeit”.
