The highest temperature in central Tokyo until 3:00 pm today, the 8th, was 25.2 degrees Celsius, which was observed in the early morning hours, marking the first time in about two months that the city was free from midsummer. From tomorrow the 9th onwards, severe lingering heat will continue in various places, and it is necessary to be careful about heat stroke.

Today (8th), it was mostly sunny in Hokkaido and Kyushu, but there were many clouds from Tohoku to Chugoku and Shikoku, and it rained in some places. The Kanto region experienced heavy rain due to Typhoon No. 13.
By 3pm, the maximum temperature was around 30°C in many places. There were 232 locations that experienced midsummer days with temperatures of 30°C or higher, and no locations experienced extremely hot days with temperatures of 35°C or higher.

In the Kanto region, the temperature hardly rose during the day, and the highest temperatures were observed in many places from early morning to early morning.
The highest temperature in central Tokyo was 25.2℃ at 12:25 a.m. After that, the temperature dropped and remained at around 20℃ to 22℃ during the day. The maximum temperature in Hokkaido will be around 25 degrees Celsius tomorrow, but from the day after (the 10th) onwards, the heat will continue to be close to 30 degrees Celsius. From tomorrow onward, it will continue to be around 33 degrees Celsius from Tohoku to Kyushu and Okinawa, and inland areas are likely to experience extremely hot days of over 35 degrees Celsius.
Once the temperature has dropped, the harsh lingering heat from tomorrow onwards will be even more difficult for the body. Please continue to be careful about heat stroke.
