Wednesday September 7, 2023, a few days before the start of the Fashion Week de New York, Montblanc took advantage of the effervescence that animates the city to present its new collection of accessories Montblanc Extreme 3.0.
In the very trendy district of West Village, the Stephan Weiss studio, a huge typically New York loft, was transformed for the occasion into a sublime library, thus evoking the recent campaigns of the house “The Library Spirit” which celebrates the inspirational power of libraries in cities around the world.

Number: Why did you choose New York to present the new Montblanc Extreme 3.0 collection?
Marco Tomasetta : The Extreme leather used for this collection of accessories truly represents New York, especially in its Platinum version, which evokes the typical industrial side of this city.
What was the inspiration for the graphic pattern of the Extreme leather used for the collection?
I found in the archives of the house of books dating from the 1940s on which Montblanc pens were tested. I used these lines on leather to imagine this non-logo, immediately recognizable and inspired by writing.
What are your three favorite accessories within the collection?
I really like the backpack, I think it’s an iconic Montblanc piece and the buckle on the front pocket gives it a functional and technological style. I also like the 142 bag because you can wear it cross-body, as a clutch, use it as a handbag or toiletry bag. Finally, the Envelope bag which is really cool in the Platinum version with the buckle as well.
