Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club Holds Eighth Summer Training Competitions for Show Jumping

SHARJAH, 7th September, WAM, The Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club organized the eighth summer training competitions for show jumping in the covered hall field at the Sharjah Equestrian Center in the club, with the participation of 325 riders from the training school of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club, the Ajman Equestrian Club, Al-Safnat Stables and the Mandara Equestrian Club. And the Jebel Ali Equestrian Club, the “Forousia” Equestrian Club, the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, the Equestrian Club in the Sustainable City in Dubai, and other clubs and stables in the country.

The first half was dedicated to the riders of the club’s training school – the Knights of Al-Bony Club – with the participation of 21 male and female riders from the children’s category in the training school, and 12 of them finished the track without error.

The second half is a race against time from one round, in which the riders competed to complete the track without error and within the specified time with barriers of 60 cm in height, with the participation of 55 riders, and 29 of them finished the track without error.

The third round came with the specifications of one round against time, in which the riders competed to complete the track without error within the specified time, with barriers that were 90 cm high, and 97 riders competed in it, and 30 of them succeeded in completing the track without errors.

As for the fourth round, it consisted of one round against time, in which the riders competed to cross the track without error within the specified time, and its course was designed with barriers ranging in height between (100-110) cm. The number of riders participating in it reached 93, and 23 riders finished the track without error.

The fifth round came with specifications suitable for the middle class knights against time, and the knights competed in it to complete the track without error with the advantage of time. Its track was designed with barriers that reached a height of 120 cm. 46 riders participated in it, 12 of whom finished the track without error. His horse “Danky Toy Zed” with a time of “56.99” seconds, and the second place went to the knight Christopher Fawry from the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club on his horse “Kalidor” with a time of “58.40” seconds .. while the third place went to the jockey Emilia Musiska from the Club Sharjah Equestrian and Racing on horseback “Corlio” with a time of “58.69” seconds, and the fourth place went to the knight Ali Al-Jahuri on his horse “Rumi” with a time of “59.00” seconds, and the fifth place went to the knight Muhammad Al-Khatiri with a time of “59.16” seconds, and the sixth place went to the knight Muhammad Faeq Abul Kalam with a time of “61.14” seconds.

The jumping competitions for the summer of 2023 include 9 competitions, starting from May 20 and continuing until September 16. The competitions in each meeting consist of five levels. A run for beginners against time, with barriers up to 80 cm high, and the fourth for beginners against time, with barriers between (100-110) cm high, and the fifth level, the middle category, with barriers between (110-120) cm high against time, in which riders compete to complete the track with less Number of errors with the advantage of time.
