The Czech music scene is going through difficult times. The gifted bass player of the rock band Jamaron, Filip Karlík, has gone to heaven. He was only 25 years old. “It’s hard to believe, but unfortunately it’s true,” wrote members of the group with which Karlík played for ten long years.
Music fans were surprised by the overwhelming news of the death of a member of the rock band Jamaron. Only twenty-five-year-old bassist Filip Karlík succumbed to the consequences of a tragic traffic accident. He breathed his last on Wednesday evening in Vinohrady hospital.
The band announced his death Jamaron, with which Karlík roamed the stages for ten long years. “We thought you’d get drunk around forty and experience us selling out halls together, but you left at the age of 25,” wrote his musical colleagues.
”You left us a lot of work and a thousand sad hearts in this world, my friend! We know that you would want us to not give up on our dreams and plans. And we also know that you would do anything to be there,” the bassist wrote to heaven
The band asked fans for “time to recover” and assured them that they will continue on the musical path. “We will not let you down,” she told her supporters. She expressed her sincere condolences to the entire family and friends.
Filip Karlík was one of the five members of the band Jamaron, which has been destroying Czech stages since 2013. The group was founded by the siblings Jakub, Marie and Ondřej Dostál, from whose names the name of the band was born. Among the most famous compositions is Osudová ballad.
