The most talked-about smartphones of recent days are undoubtedly the upcoming iPhone 15, but whistleblower Yogesh Brar decided to disrupt their media attention at least for a short time – he published the key parameters of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone. And since it has a high percentage of successful predictions, we cannot take this leak lightly.
Flat screen, titanium body and improved cameras
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will be at the top of the Korean manufacturer’s portfolio at the beginning of next year, at least in the field of smartphones with a classic design. Yogesh Brar doesn’t talk about the design of the phone, but it leaks from other sources that we will see a fairly significant change – the display should be completely flat, and the sides of the metal frame surrounding the entire device should also be straight. Samsung wants to use the same design language for the entire Galaxy S24 series.

The specialty of the top model is supposed to be the material of the mentioned frame – while aluminum is to be used for the basic Galaxy S24 and S24+ models, Samsung is said to use lighter and stronger titanium for the Ultra version. Apple is to use the same material for the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is to be equipped with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display. The display will reportedly boast Quad HD+ resolution and a variable refresh rate with a maximum of 120 Hz. On paper, nothing should change compared to this year’s model, but we expect the deployment of a newer generation panel with more accurate colors and a higher maximum brightness.
The heart of the phone is supposed to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It is rumored that this mobile processor will be given to the Galaxy S24 Ultra worldwide, while the Koreans will use their own Exynos 2400 chips for part of the production of the basic variants of the Galaxy S24 and S24+.

The cameras will reportedly receive a partial upgrade, especially in the field of telephoto lenses. The back of the phone should again be occupied by four cameras:

The selfie camera should retain the resolution of 12 megapixels. Yogesh Brar also mentions a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W charging and, unsurprisingly, the new Android 14 system with the One UI 6 environment. We can certainly count on water resistance, support for wireless charging and, of course, a built-in S-Pen stylus.
The current line of Galaxy S23 flagships was introduced on February 1st this year, so it’s possible that the successor generation will be unveiled around the same time next year.
