On the evening of 7-9, the Department of Education and Training of Ia Grai district (Gia Lai province), confirmed that a drowning incident had occurred in the area, causing two tragic deaths of two students.

Before that, at about 4 pm on the same day, the Ia Grai District Medical Center received two male students who were hospitalized for emergency but died before being hospitalized due to drowning.
According to initial information, around 15:00, people heard the cry for help and came to the lake to pick up the two children ashore and take them to the emergency room. It is known that this afternoon, the two of them were absent from school, so they invited each other to go fishing and swimming in the lake.
After the incident, the Department of Education and Training of Ia Grai district, Nguyen Viet Xuan Primary School came to visit and offer condolences to the families of the two victims.
