McDonald’s has revealed the details of its upcoming collaboration with The Pokémon Company to the delight of fans of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. This promotion will be available from September 12 to October 16, for five weeks.
The collaboration, which began in July in some European countries, features a set of 15 reprinted cards. All the cards are from the Scarlet & Violet series, except for Pikachu, which comes from Paldea Evolved. Six of the cards will be holographic and have a new shiny border design. These letters are: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, Cetitan, Pikachu and Klawf.
Customers who purchase a Happy Meal will receive an upgrade pack and a toy. The pack will include four promo cards, one of which will be holographic. This year’s toy will be similar to the previous year, known as “Match & Battle”, but with an updated design.
However, an error has been detected in the card set. Kirlia appears with the wrong number, which is a rarity in English cards.
This collaboration between McDonald’s and The Pokémon Company offers fans of the card game the opportunity to increase their collections and enjoy new holographic cards. Feel free to share your thoughts on this exciting promotion!
