The last weekend of the beach and pool season in New York will be wet.
After the heat warning that remains in effect until today, where temperatures were reached above 90 degrees, the weather will change starting Friday.
The Guardians of Time from Univision 41 explained that on Friday afternoon, the temperatures drop and the rains arrive in the Big Apple.
“Friday we’re going to start seeing thunderstorms in the afternoon around 4:00 p.m., this will continue until 6:00 p.m. and then it subsides and again on Saturday we’ll have scattered rounds of rain and the occasional isolated storm,” explained our meteorologist Stephanie Viés.
“Unfortunately this last weekend with open beaches and pools will be a bit unstable,” he added.
Isolated storms are expected for Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures between 73 and 83 degrees due to the arrival of a cold front in the area.
“Saturday and Sunday with the passage of this cold front we began to see temperatures more in line for the time in the low 80s,” added Viés.
For next week, autumn temperatures will be present with temperatures below 80 degrees starting Wednesday, accompanied by rain.
