Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Ryabkov made an important statement regarding Moscow’s deployment of nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus.
According to him, the relevant work continues according to the previously established schedule.
The deployment of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus is carried out in accordance with the schedule, which was mentioned by the President of the Russian Federation, – quotes diplomat TASS agency.
The Deputy Foreign Minister drew attention to the fact that by now several stages have been passed in creating infrastructure and re-equipping military equipment for the use of tactical nuclear weapons.

This work continues, – said Sergey Ryabkov.
At the same time, he did not go into details of the work being carried out and the time frame during which the tasks are expected to be completed.
The reluctance to talk about this, the representative of the Foreign Ministry argued with the “lack of appropriate instructions.”
If management deems it possible and desirable to provide details of what is happening, this will be done. Today, I don’t have any additions or changes to what was previously voiced on this topic,” he said.
He also called the idea of creating a nuclear-weapon-free zone in Central and Eastern Europe “far from reality”.
Sergei Ryabkov emphasized that against the backdrop of the West’s “escalation course”, which contradicts the idea of a nuclear-free zone and the philosophy of nuclear disarmament, Russia will continue to ensure its own security.
