A British-made Challenger 2 tank has become the first of its kind to be destroyed in Ukraine after it was hit by a guided missile on a battlefield near a key Russian stronghold.
A video clip of the moment the British main battle tank was hit by a 152 mm guided missile under the turret was spread on the Internet, especially pro-Russian websites, at 6 am near the Ukrainian village of Robotyn.
A large explosion can be seen before fires ignite nearby, with intense burning visible across the reservoir as it is engulfed in thick gray smoke.
