A tragic accident happened in Zug train station on Wednesday evening. According to law enforcement agencies, a woman fell under a train at around 5:30 p.m.

The 63-year-old was walking along the platform when she was grazed by an incoming Interregio that was on its way to Zurich. She then fell and got under the train. The woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after receiving first aid.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident. Train traffic was restricted due to the accident. Employees of the Zug rescue service, the SBB, the transport police and the Zug police were on duty. (say)
