Zharick León Returns to ‘Pasión de Gavilanes’ in Highly Anticipated Season

Zharick León is one of the most versatile Colombian actresses, who has enchanted the audience with a wide variety of characters. But there is no doubt that one of the most loved and remembered of her is that of Rosario Montes, the singer and dancer who made the universe of Pasión de Gavilanes tremble more than once.

This new season marks the return of Mario Cimarro, Danna García, Alfonso Baptista and Michel Brown, as well as Zharick León, with his character returning to the town of San Marcos and destabilizing the life of the Reyes Elizondo family.

“Rosario’s character gave me the opportunity to fulfill one of my dreams as a child, which was to be a singer and that I had never explored before. All these years it has been very nice to see how people remember her. Returning to the role demanded a lot from me, because I am a rather shy woman and Rosario, in addition to being extroverted, passionate and risky, has changed a lot in all these years, as have all the actors who participated in this project, ” assured the actress during the launch of the series in Bogotá.

This season has already premiered on Telemundo in the United States, as well as in Spain, together with the Netflix platform in some territories, except Colombia.

The premiere on Canal Caracol will be on Wednesday, September 13, after ‘Yo me llamo’, replacing ‘Romina Poderosa’, which is in its final stretch.

In fact, the production was carried out by three units, each one with its own director, beginning with Rodrigo Triana, the director of the first season more than 20 years ago. Directors Sergio Osorio and Camilo Vega participated in the other units, each one in specific locations this season.

It depends on the results in Caracol if Telemundo gives the green light for the third season.

Its first part premiered 20 years ago, a production by RTI for Caracol and for Telemundo, a Hispanic channel in the United States that was beginning to take a serious interest in Colombian productions.

Some specialists claimed at the time that one of the ingredients that made this telenovela successful, nationally and internationally, was having a list of highly attractive male actors, who used to appear shirtless in a good part of their scenes.

At that time, it was usual that the extension of the telenovela was given by its success on the channel, so this production reached 188 episodes.

But the return does not end there

The information that is known about the plot of the production shows that the role of the actress will be of vital importance, since the love story between Beatriz Pinzón Solano and Armando Mendoza has his followers waiting. In this third part, the story would start with the divorce process of the main characters, so the plot will revolve around Betty’s daughter, who will be played by the talented Juanita Molina, star of ‘Romina Poderosa’.
