Rui Moreira commented, in statements to CNN, the controversy created around a publication in which he questioned Sérgio Conceição’s work, regretting that it had been made public in a “decontextualized way”. “Today there seems to be an uncritical situation here in relation to what is going on at the club and that worries me. I am also concerned about the issue of fair play. embarrasses. Despite what he wrote, Rui Moreira assures that he never disrespected the technician. “If there’s anyone who has the utmost professional respect for Sérgio Conceição it’s me, I think he did a great job at FC Porto. When he was attacked, when the family was attacked, I didn’t see the cheerleader defending him. There was one person who I said that management needed to take a more forceful stance on this matter.
