[서울=뉴스핌] Reporter Choi Won-jin = Japan’s NHK reported on the 7th, citing a Russian government official, that North Korea and Russia are coordinating the summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and President Putin in Vladivostok.

A Russian government official informed NHK the previous day that they are currently coordinating the holding of the summit between the two countries. A university on an island off the coast of Vladivostok is being considered as a venue.

An official from the university hinted that on the 5th, students entering and exiting the campus were notified to undergo a Corona 19 gene amplification (PCR) test.

It is known that a plan for Chairman Kim and President Putin to visit military-related facilities in the Far East is also being considered.

If the North Korea-Russia summit is concluded, Russia is expected to make an arms deal between North Korea and Ukraine necessary for the war.

A Russian government official said, “The North Korean side has been changing the schedule,” adding that attention is focused on the schedule and location of the meeting as coordination is expected to continue until the last minute.

Previously, on the 4th, the NYT raised the possibility of Chairman Kim meeting with President Putin at the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok, Russia, where the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) event will be held on the 10th to 13th.
