Danelo Calvante, imprisoned for killing his wife, escaped last Thursday, just weeks after his life sentence, reports CNN.
Pennsylvania State Police released video showing him climbing between two walls while stretching fully with his hands on one wall and his feet on the other to slowly climb up to the roof.
In order to get out of the prison perimeter, Mr. Calvante would have had to cross two barbed wires and climb another wall.
Police are still on his trail as he was last seen on Monday.
Schools near the prison even closed their doors as a precaution this week in connection with this run.
