Actor Shah Rukh Khan has been criticized by Muslim clerics for visiting the famous Balaji Temple in Tirupati before the release of his new movie Jawaan.
Shahrukh was accompanied by his daughter Suhana, Jaawan co-star Nayanthara and husband Vignesh Sivan who visited the temple. The cyber attack came after the pictures and video of it came out.

A true Muslim bows down to Allah alone. Film actors are not committed to their faith. Islam does not allow idolatry’ – said Syed Noori, chairman of Raza Academy, a leading organization of Sunni Muslims. Noori said that in many films, actors pray to Hindu deities and perform aarti, which is not permissible in Islam.
