Both midfielders are among the ten players nominated for France Football’s award for the best player under the age of 21.
Jude Bellingham and Edward Camavinga are candidates for the Kopa Trophy awarded by France Football. This award honors the best player under the age of 21. The Englishman, who is in his first season at Real Madrid, is aiming to win the award after his superb season at Borussia Dortmund. The midfielder was voted Bundesliga Best Player in 2022/23, scored 14 goals in all competitions and started for England at the World Cup in Qatar.
Camavinga on the other hand, last season was one of Ancelotti most frequently used player and came up with 59 missions. The France international played a key role in the three titles that Real Madrid won last season: He was in the final of Club World Cupof the King’s Cup and des European Supercups in the starting eleven.
The winner of the Kopa Trophy will be announced during the Ballon d’Or gala on October 30 in Paris. The other nominated players are Hojlund, Balde, Pedri, Xavi Simons, Musiala, Antonio Silva, Gavi and Wahi.
