From October 6 to 8, at the Institute of Solid State Physics of the University of Latvia (LU CFI), Ķengaraga Street 8, in cooperation with leading Latvian companies and organizations, an international hackathon “Hydrogen X Future Hackathon” will be held, dedicated to the current topic of hydrogen and for the newbies energy resources. Hackathon grand prize – 3000 EUR!
Take part in the hackathon and be a part of the future, finding energy solutions together with “Latvenergo”, the international airport “Riga”, the Riga Freeport Authority and the association “Green and Viedo Technology Cluster”, who have prepared challenges especially for this event:
The hackathon is also supported by the Technology Business Center of the Latvian Investment and Development Agency.
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to develop their ideas in a creative and innovative atmosphere, meet like-minded people, as well as gain valuable knowledge and expand their contact network by meeting with experienced mentors and industry professionals.
On the first day of the hackathon, participants will form teams, developing them together with mentors, in order to present a potentially commercialized result related to hydrogen as a future energy source at the end of the event, on October 8 – Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day, which will allow promoting a carbon-neutral course in Latvia, Europe and the world .
The event will also include lectures by experts, where participants of the hackathon will be able to learn about the commercialization cycle of a product – from an idea to a finished and salable product, and special attention will also be paid to the environment of accelerators and start-ups in Latvia.
Participation in the Hydrogen X Future Hackathon is free.
