The dinner lasted about three hours. Roman menu – everyone paid 40 euro – with several courses: Gragnano calamarata with Pachino tomato, burrata and pistachio, beef cheek, braised Piedmontese fassona with seasonal vegetables, purple cabbage salad and finally tiramisu. At the end of the dinner it was expected a speech of Meloni who, however, preferred to give up to avoid leaks of news. So the premier decided to take a selfie in the garden of the event center and she indulged in a little nostalgia for the old battles MPs as opposition leaders: “I miss you, continue to carry on the work done so far. Then we will speak to the National Assembly”. The premier refers to the event convened for the September 12th who will have to start the season of local congresses and open the European campaign with the initial report by Meloni.
Then, around 11.30 pm, Meloni, parliamentarians and ministers left the building to go home. The premier is exit from retro not to meet the reporters while elected and ministers are back or with private means – Fazzolari with your own car – or with a taxi and rental scooter. “We are all very sober”, several Melon MPs joked at the exit.
