The creators of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in an interview with Famitsu confirmedthat no add-ons for the game are currently planned.
Franchise producer Eiji Aonuma noted that in the future, the team could either do a sequel or a completely new The Legend of Zelda project. Either way, it will be a new gaming experience that Aonuma hopes fans are looking forward to.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was released in May this year on the Nintendo Switch. The game received the highest critical acclaim and became Nintendo’s sales engine. And last month, Tears of the Kingdom was one of the leaders in the Gamescom Awards 2023.
