The Front in Defense of Public Education calls for this Friday a mobilization in defense of Free Textbooks, after they consider that they are violating the right to education of children and adolescents.
This Friday, September 8 at 10:00 a.m., they will gather at the Pancho Villa roundabout, to later march to the Government Palace and hold a rally to demand the immediate delivery of LTG from Governor María Eugenia Campos Galván.

This defense has been joined by various civil associations, retired teachers, teachers from training schools, active teachers as well as the Network of Educational Researchers of Chihuahua and the Alliance for the Defense of the Secular State.
The Network of Educational Researchers of the State of Chihuahua (REDIECH) declared itself in favor of the approaches of the New Mexican School and in defense of the distribution of LTG for basic education.
The academic community that groups the network urged the Executive Power of the State of Chihuahua, for the immediate delivery of educational materials corresponding to the 2023-2024 school year, which are a constitutional right for children in Chihuahua.
They pointed out that the contents, didactic approaches and theoretical foundations that take up humanism as a principle are what the 21st century society requires.
This front is an initiative that arises from a group of sector heads, supervisors, ATP’s, directors and teachers of the primary education level of the federalized subsystem, from different regions of the state.
They also mentioned that they will march to defend Article 3 of the Constitution that supports the project of the New Mexican School.
The front summoned teachers, peasants, workers, professionals, indigenous peoples, youth, alterglobalists, feminists, artists, athletes, mothers and fathers, vulnerable groups, the Lgbtttiq+ community and all marginalized and invisible othernesses.
It should be noted that this concentration will be held one day before the one planned by the businessmen and the National Union of Parents.
