She added that Egypt is seeking an agreement that will benefit the three countries, which requires that all negotiating parties adopt a comprehensive vision that combines the protection of national interests and the achievement of benefits for all.
Warnings of slips and falls in the dam
Minister Hani Sweilem also stressed the importance of reaching a binding legal agreement regarding the rules for filling and operating the Renaissance Dam, taking into account the interests and concerns of the three countries, stressing the importance of stopping any unilateral steps in this regard.
It is noteworthy that Egyptian experts had previously warned of slips and falls in the dam after water quantities reached higher levels and increased pressure on the earth’s crust in its area, which represents a great danger.
